The draw and schedule for the upcoming European tour in the form of Czech Darts Open 2023 competition have been confirmed. The competition will take place between May 12-14.
The 28-year-old Defending champion Luke Humphries will return to the capital of Czech Republic in search of his first European Tour title of 2023.
He lost in the final of the Belgium Darts Open last week to the Dutch Darts professional Michael van Gerwen.
Other top players like, Josh Rock, Peter Wright, Jonny Clayton, Adam Gawlas, and Karel Sedlacek will also be returning in action.
Gawlas will be playing against Latvia’s Madars Razma on Friday evening. Whilst Sedlacek will be facing off with Dutch qualifier Jeffrey Sparidaans.
Van Gerwen will be up against the winner of the first-round tie between Ian White and Mike De Decker. On the other hand, Clayton, it is a matchup with either Martijn Kleermaker or Stephen Bunting.
All qualifiers are guaranteed £1250, while the top-16 players on the qualifying list at the Czech Darts Open will receive £2,500.
Qualifiers who win their first game would also go to at least £2,500 in prize money. Third-rounders are good for £4000, while quarter-finalists would be off to home with £6000 anyway. Semi-finalists will get at least £8500 before the rewards go into the five figures for reaching the final.
The winner of the seventh Euro Tour tournament of the season will go home with £30,000. For the runner-up at the Czech Darts Open, £12,000 awaits.
